I produce limited quantities of handmade jewellery using Sterling Silver and other materials, including Shetland soapstone and serpentine.
The Fair Isle range uses traditional knitting patterns taken from jumpers knitted on Shetland. Different jumper designs are used, and the degree of patination and polishing means that no two pieces are identical. The jumper designs used are a mixture of Burra and Whalsay fishermans jumpers, the Whalsay jumpers often having larger star patterns. If you order a piece it may vary from the examples shown here. The size shown is the maximum dimension and due to the handmade process each piece may vary slightly in size.
Silver jewellery has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office unless noted on the description. Hallmarking information.
Jewellery will be sent boxed and can be gift wrapped on request. Insured Postage and packaging will be charged at cost.
